A practical care notebook
The working product starts with records a guardian can actually maintain: food, water, weight, activity, litter observations, appointments, tests, vaccinations, medication and free-form notes.
- Create and manage multiple cat profiles.
- Add, edit, search and filter dated records.

From records to connected care
Our next step is to explore a clinic pilot that helps guardians share useful context with a participating veterinarian. The beta collects expressions of interest to understand this need.
Clinic integration, appointment booking and automatic medical-record transfer are not live. We have not presented fictional clinics, partnerships or customer reviews as evidence.
We plan to improve record summaries, multilingual support and the questions users can bring to a consultation. Future features will be shaped by actual usage and feedback.
How AI fits into care
- The guardian records observations in the browser.
- When AI is available, the guardian reviews the displayed provider and the scope of the data to be shared.
- Only after explicit consent, the selected profile and a limited set of recent records are sent for a summary and suggested questions for a veterinarian.
- The guardian compares the generated summary with the original records and can use the printable record summary when preparing for a visit.
AI integration status: The live beta uses Cloudflare Workers AI. The product shows actual provider availability. The Claude integration is implemented and awaiting live validation. Current summaries use the provider identified in the product.
Catgrass does not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment or generate a medical vaccination schedule. Reminder dates are entered by the guardian. Clinical decisions belong with a qualified veterinarian.
Our team and product
Catgrass was founded in December 2025 in South Korea as a new AI cat care software venture, separate from an existing retail-store business. Founder & CEO YongSik Yun leads its dedicated development team.
This bootstrapped company is developing a care platform built around everyday records: a practical way for guardians to collect everyday observations, understand changes and prepare useful information for a veterinarian.
We are testing whether a lightweight, useful record habit can improve the information guardians bring to care conversations.
Data principles
Profiles and care records stay in the current browser by default. There is no automatic account backup or cross-device sync. Users can export, restore or delete their local records.
AI transmission is optional and separately consented to. The interface explains which recent records and text lengths will be shared. Unnecessary personal information should not be included in notes.
Interest forms and feedback are stored for service operation and improvement, with a maximum retention period of 180 days. Aggregate usage events exclude cat names and health-record contents. Deletion requests can be sent to our contact email.
